PREMIERE: Un Paese Di Musichette Mentre Fuori C’è La Morte – Solaris
We here at Distorted Sound Magazine are delighted to premiere the debut album from SOLARIS!
Titled Un Paese Di Musichette Mentre Fuori C’è La Morte, the upcoming album from the Italian post-rockers bares witness to their very own perception of noise-laden post-rock through powerful riffs, magnetic vocals and industrial soundscapes. Ahead of the debut album’s release this Friday, we here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere the album in its entirety!
Speaking about the upcoming album, the band tells us, “this time was different: we cared more about the song writing in the rehearsal room, trying to give songs a common impression and doing some pre-productions before the actual recordings. It was in the rehearsal room where we often joke with quotes from Boris, a popular Italian TV Series: that’s where our new album title Un Paese Di Musichette Mentre Fuori C’è La Morte comes from, but deep down it’s the perfect claim for the Italian music world, always attracted by the carefree songs that distract from the hard reality, rather than being interested in underground artists who deal with more complex issues. Confronting a sacred monster like Martin Bisi was an incredible experience: during the takes he let us play freely in style and dynamics, while during the mixing phase he put his mark everywhere, proposing unusual ideas and sounds.”
