Prince Daddy & The Hyena announce new self-titled album
PRINCE DADDY & THE HYENA have announced a new album!
The upcoming album, a self-titled effort, is the brand new album from the Albany, NY-based indie-punk band and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Pure Noise Records.
The upcoming album was recorded by Nick ‘Scoops’ Dardaris at the Barber Shop Studios in New Jersey and speaking about the upcoming album, vocalist Kory Gregory says, “I think the record as a whole, as a journey, feels bittersweet and hopeful in a way. In other words: we’re all going to die, so we might as well enjoy the ride before we do. To me, that photo (the album cover) is the essence of the record. When people hear me singing about the character on the record that isn’t me, I want them to picture that.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; A Random Exercise In Impermanence (The Collector).
