Queen Laya announces debut self-titled EP
QUEEN LAYA have announced her debut EP!
The upcoming EP, a self-titled effort, is the debut studio offering from the alternative artist and is scheduled to be released in May this year, via self-release.
Alongside the announcement of the debut EP, the artist has released a new song from the upcoming EP; IMAGE & LIKENESS OF THE END. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming debut EP, following on from RAGE, which was released back in January.
Speaking about the new song, the artist says, “IMAGE & LIKENESS OF THE END is about my process with social media pressures and growing up with hateful tabloids breeding a lot of self loathe for many individuals. This song is a conversation between myself & those exact projections from the media. I set out to defy the low vibrational messages, and take on a path of discovery. In this world, having self respect & self worth is seen as a deadly sin and the end of the world. I’m battling between being confined in comfort, or breaking free & conquering the unimaginable.”
