Radar Festival announce six new bands
Radar Festival have announced six new bands for next year’s festival!
Following October’s announcement, which saw the likes of DIRTY LOOPS, PLINI, ITHACA, CONJURER and more confirmed, now, another six bands have been announced for the forward-thinking festival in Manchester next year.
Leading the charge in the new announcement is synthwave band THE MIDNIGHT, who headline the Friday night, whilst electrojazz duo SUNGAZER and festival alumni HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH will all perform across the festival weekend next July. Also confirmed is Norwegian death-pop band BLOOD COMMAND, UK rock quarter UNPEOPLE and industrial newcomers TRIBE OF GHOSTS.
Speaking about the new announcement, festival co-organiser Joe James says, “here we go, headliner number one – THE MIDNIGHT! We have been working on this one for a year and are delighted to get it over the line. Bringing synth royalty with their 80s vibes straight to Stage One, we’re so excited for our Friday night to ooze fun whilst we finish the first day with RADAR dancing straight into a neon haze.
We’re also delighted to announce SUNGAZER, the electrojazz duo who bring their dreamy pop to lighten the mood and wow us with their musicianship. RADAR is always keen to support new music and unpeople have garnered a strong reputation already so we couldn’t wait to invite them to share the beginning of their journey with us all. Expanding the party are RADAR alumni HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH, alongside death-pop legends BLOOD COMMAND and industrial newcomers TRIBE OF GHOSTS.”
Radar Festival will take place from July 26th-28th at O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
