Raging Speedhorn announce new album ‘Night Wolf’
RAGING SPEEDHORN have announced a new album!
Titled Night Wolf, the upcoming album from the Corby-based metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s Hard To Kill, and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Spinefarm Records.
The upcoming album was recorded with Russ Russell [NAPALM DEATH, AT THE GATES, DIMMU BORGIR] at Parlour Studios in Kettering, UK.
Speaking about the upcoming album, drummer Gordon Morrison says, “I love being in this band, it’s the only thing I’ve done for this long and I love playing music with these guys. Why would I want to stop? It’s in your blood, you can’t stop. We were kids when we started, and it seems like I blinked and I’m still here doing this. We have a new album, a new deal, and if you think about it, there’s not many bands from when we first started that are still going like we are.
It’s about chemistry and not giving a fuck and just believing in what you want to do. Honestly, it’s been the best being in a band with these guys, it’s just so easy. Every now and then there’s a bit of a bicker, but there’s never ever any arguments between us anymore, which I think is good. We all just get on really well, we love writing, we love hanging out, it just feels great. I wouldn’t want to be in a band with anyone else, and that’s half the battle there, isn’t it?”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, RAGING SPEEDHORN have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Every Night’s Alright For Fighting. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from the title track, which was released back in November.
Speaking about the new song and its accompanying new music video, the band shares, “we all love the late 80s/90s wrestling era (the Golden age) and this is a video we have wanted to film for a long time. Finally, we wrote Every Night’s Alright For Fighting and we knew this was the song straight away to pay homage to some of our childhood heroes of the squared circle. The song itself embraces the more classic SPEEDHORN sound, and we’re stoked to finally release our tongue in cheek tribute to the masses. We hope you all like it! Oooooh Yeahhhh!”
