RAMS Invasion lineup confirmed

The lineup for the first RAMS Invasion of the new academic year has been announced!

Distorted Sound has a solid relationship with RAMS, Staffordshire University’s very own rock, alternative and metal society. Our Founder, Deputy Editor, as well as a large number of our long-standing contributors have been associated with the society in years gone by.

And so, with a new academic year on the horizon, the society is gearing up for another year and to kick it all off, the first Invasion is set to commence.

Set for September 24th at LRV in Stoke-on-Trent, three bands will bring the riffs and kick off another academic year in style! Stoke-on-Trent bruisers BALLSDEEP, alt rock trio JESSE’S DIVIDE and emerging doom metallers VOIDLURKER will perform at the event with DJ Dave Jessiman spinning the tunes inbetween sets, and for the final two hours of the night.

Tickets are £4 for students, £5 for the general public. There is no additional charge if bought on the door, but a valid student ID must be presented if buying a student ticket. Tickets become available on 1st September via the Staffordshire University’s Student Union website – a link will be sent as soon as it becomes available.
