Riot Stares announce debut album ‘Sounds Of Acceleration’
RIOT STARES have announced their debut album!
Titled Sounds Of Acceleration, the upcoming album from the Charleston, SC-based alternative hardcore band is their debut full-length effort and is scheduled to be released in January next year, via DAZE.
Although their debut full-length record, the upcoming debut will be the band’s final record following the tragic passing of guitarist Issy Varoumas.
The upcoming debut was recorded and mixed by John Howard at War House Recordings [ECOSTRIKE, YASHIRA] in Gainesville, FL and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege [MINDFORCE, END IT] in Portland, OR. The ten songs on the record intend to provide a sense of exhilaration, aggressive and vibrant at the same time. As the band puts it, “we were trying to give the sense that you’re stuck in something you don’t have any control of and that everything’s happening fast and you can’t slow it down.”
Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming debut; Trip Chain.
