Ritaul Mass announce debut album ‘Cascading Misery’
RITUAL MASS have announced a new album!
The upcoming album, titled Cascading Misery, is the debut full-length effort from the Pittsburgh-based death metal band and is scheduled to be released in September this year via 20 Buck Spin.
The new album follows a string of EP and demo releases and intends to mark a significant evolution in the band’s sound. The debut album was engineered by Greg Wilkinson at Mr. Smalls Recording Studio in Pittsburgh and was mixed/mastered at Earhammer Studios in Oakland.
Alongside the album announcement, the band have released the lead single from the record; titled Immeasurable Hell.
Speaking about the new single, the band says, “while the rest of Cascading Misery deals in spiritual bedlam, Immeasurable Hell is a declaration of collapse, the sound of nature and humanity beginning to circle the drain.”
