Ruts DC announce new album ‘Counterculture?’
RUTS DC have announced a new album!
Titled Counterculture?, the upcoming album from the veteran punk band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2016’s Music Must Destroy, and is scheduled to be released in November this year, via Sosumi Recordings.
“Counterculture? For us, it never went away,” says bassist/vocalist John ‘Segs’ Jennings. “We’ve always been on the outside and still are. It’s ok to be a freak. That’s why THE RUTS started in the first place. If it’s still inside you, it’s time to light that flame again. Get to know what you don’t know. Come and borrow my lighter.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released ad new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; the title track Counterculture.
