Rwake announce new album ‘The Return Of Magik’
RWAKE have announced a new album!
Titled The Return Of Magik, the upcoming album from the Little Rock, Arkansas-based sludge/doom metal band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s Rest, and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Relapse Records.
Recorded in early 2024 at East End Sounds in Hensley, Arkansas, The Return Of Magik introduces the band’s new lead guitarist Austin Sublett with a barrage of shredded solos suited to the angular, progressive metal riffing of the album’s most jaw-clenching moments.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; The Return Of Magik.
