Same Side announce new album ‘Oh No’

SAME SIDE have announced a new album!

Titled Oh No, the upcoming album from the solo project of THE STORY SO FAR and ELDER BROTHER‘s Kevin Geyer, is the follow-up to 2021’s In Place, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Pure Noise Records.

Produced by longtime collaborator Ben Hirschfield, the songs on Oh No took shape at Geyer’s downtown San Francisco practice space. “Thematically, there tends to be some sort of playful dread with my lyrics,” Geyer says. “You sort of feel like, ‘Oh no, here we go again.’ But ultimately, you can’t just sit around and wait for things to get better. You have to get over it and move on with life.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Cruise. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Now, which was released back in March.
