Sanguisugabogg announce new album ‘Hideous Aftermath’

SANGUISUGABOGG have announced a new album!

Titled Hideous Aftermath, the upcoming album from the Ohio-based death metal band is the follow-up to 2023’s Homicidal Ecstasy, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Century Media Records.

The upcoming album was produced by Kurt Ballou [NAILS, HIGH ON FIRE] where the band decamped to God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts in the Spring of this year.

Speaking about the upcoming album, vocalist Devin Swank shares, “it’s definitely our most death metal record, our most personal record, our most focused and brutal record to date. It’s the one where we rolled our sleeves up and brought our A-Game.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, SANGUISUGABOGG have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Hideous Aftermath. The new song features a guest appearance from Josh Welshman of DEFEATED SANITY.

Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “as a death metal band diving deep in dark tropes of fantasy and exaggerated real life horrors, this song is a timeless classic with a theme very tried and true with our genre and it’s about the slaughter of an entire family and the unborn.”
