Sátan Festival announces new wave of bands for 2026 edition

Sátan Metal Festival has announced the next wave of bands for its 2026 edition!

The emerging Icelandic metal festival will return for its third edition in Stykkishólmur on the Snæfellsnes peninsula from June 4th to 6th, 2026. Joining the lineup are Icelandic heavy metallers STRIPSHOW, who will perform their first show in 30 years, Belgian death metal icons ABORTED, Norwegian old school death metal legends CADAVER and Icelandic power metal outfit POWER PALADIN.

Also confirmed for next year’s festival are Icelandic thrashers BOOTLEGS, Icelandic black metal brigade NEXION, Polish grindcore band KOOKAVEEN, and the winners of the upcoming 2026 Iceland Wacken Metal Battle (TBA).

They join an already stacked bill featuring DIMMA, SIGN, VOIVOD, MISÞYRMING, HAMFERÐ, SKITSYSTEM, NECROWRETCH, TAILGUNNER, DEVINE DEFILEMENT, CARPE NOCTEM, WISTARIA, and BARNAVEIKI, with more to be announced soon.
