Sátan Metal Festival announces final wave of bands for 2026

Sátan Metal Festival has revealed its final wave of bands for 2026!

The Icelandic metal festival will return for its third edition from June 4–6, 2026 in Stykkishólmur on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, promising an eclectic mix of extreme sounds and special performances.

Following the announcement of VOIVOD, TAILGUNNER and WISTARIA back in August, this year’s lineup now includes a very special collaboration between BEHEMOTH frontman Negal and Icelandic black metallers MISÞYRMING, who will join forces to perform BEHEMOTH’s seminal debut Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic) in its entirety.

Alongside this exclusive set, the festival welcomes Icelandic post-hardcore outfit GAVIN PORTLAND, Swedish thrash pioneers THE HAUNTED, and MÚR, winner of the Iceland Music Award’s 2025 Newcomer of the Year.
