Set It Off release new song ‘Creating Monsters’

SET IT OFF have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Creating Monsters, is the brand new single from the alternative band and follows on from their previous single, Fake Ass Friends, which was released back in March.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Cody Carson says, “the original voice memo for the Creating Monsters concept is called ‘Big band metal!!! DO THIS!!!’. It was a BLAST writing it! We were writing a big band jazz rock song, but with heavy rock. Part of the battle with anxiety is being around people that don’t deal with it, and don’t understand. So we came up with the idea that it’s like creating a room full of monsters that only you can see. This song is about the prolonged battle with anxiety, as well as the will to fight back. I want people to hear this and know they’re not alone in their struggle, but also be able to use it as a tool to somewhat come to terms with it, laugh it off in a way, and celebrate that we’re still fighting the good fight.”
