Seven Hours After Violet announce self-titled debut album
SEVEN HOURS AFTER VIOLET have announced their debut album!
A self-titled effort, the upcoming album from the project helmed by SYSTEM OF A DOWN‘s Shavo Odadjian is their debut full-length album, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Sumerian Records.
Speaking about the upcoming debut album, Shavo shares, “this album is the culmination of years of creative exploration. With SEVEN HOURS AFTER VIOLET. I wanted to return to my roots in heavy music but also bring something entirely new to the table.”
Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming debut album; Radiance. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming debut, following on from Paradise, which was released back in June.
Speaking about the new song, Shavo says, “Radiance and its precursor, Paradise, are but a small glimpse of the intensity, musical diversity and emotion that run through this album. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it in full and to bring these songs to life on stage at our first live performance at Mayhem Fest.”
