Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, the band says, “Damnation has long been one of the best one-day events anywhere, and Gav and the team unfailingly put together a superb lineup and a great festival to be at and play at. This year is especially perfect timing for us, as the festival takes place just shortly after the release of our new album, A New Kind of Horror. A move up to the main stage, new songs to play, we’re genuinely excited to get back to Damnation and pile on the savagery.”
Also confirmed to play at this year’s even in tonight’s announcement is North Dakota’s enigmatic blackgaze collective, GHOST BATH, Philadelphia’s post-metallers, ROSETTA, and Scotland’s Celtic folk quartet, SAOR, Grammy award winning noise-rockers, ÅRABROT while Denmark’s stunning act, MØL, and Austria’s party thrashers, INSANITY ALERT all join this year’s stellar-looking lineup. Speaking about playing at this year’s festival, ÅRABROT says, “thank you for having us, Damnation. ÅRABROT is pleased to return to Leeds for the first time in a decade.
