Shields release new music video for ‘Bury Me’

SHIELDS have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Bury Me, is the brand new single from the British metalcore band and marks their first new music since 2018’s Life In Exile. The release of the new single comes ahead of the band’s comeback to the live stage at Burn It Down Festival this weekend.

“The whole subject matter for the song Bury Me stems from the phrase ‘nocturnal pollution’ – a disrupted form of sleep that is informed by internal and external forces alike,” comments guitarist Sam Kubrick. “The songs lyrics were written from the perspective of a person who is suffering from experiences such as night terrors and insomnia, and as a result dreads the torture of going to bed every night. When I first started the music for Bury Me, I had one pure intention which was to write the most quintessentially SHIELDS track I possibly could. It ended up becoming heavily influence by our previous single Jordan but as if it was written for our first album Life In Exile.”
