Sky Valley Mistress announce new album ‘Lunar Mausoleum’

SKY VALLEY MISTRESS have announced a brand new album!

Titled Luna Mausoleum, the upcoming record from the Blackburn-based hard rock outfit is scheduled to be released in January next year, via New Heavy Sounds. The album is the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2020 debut Faithless Rituals.

Intended as the soundtrack to their “Hearsecraft ride to the moon,” the album promises a bold sonic journey through desert rock grooves, mountainous riffs, and eclectic instrumentation, including fuzz-drenched guitars, organs, orchestras, and even a children’s choir. Speaking about their vision for the record, the band state it was designed to be “greater and beyond all reason”.

Alongside the announcement, the band have released a new song lifted from the upcoming album, Thundertaker, named after the hearse they drive on tour. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Too Many Ghosts, which was released back in March.
