Slomosa announce new album ‘Tundra Rock’
SLOMOSA have announced a new album!
Titled Tundra Rock, the upcoming album from the Norwegian desert rock band is the follow-up to 2020’s self-titled debut album, and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Stickman Records.
The nine album tracks were produced by Eirik Marinius Sandvik at Polyfon Studio and Marinius Studio, and were mastered by Jørgen Træen. The cover artwork was created by Elsa Enestig.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Battling Guns. The new song is the third single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Rice and Cabin Fever.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Benjamin Berdous says, “this song shows a grungier side to our songwriting, as we wanted to add something new to our catalog. As history repeats itself, their triumphs are cheap and their followers are sheep. The song symbolizes the disbelief and anger at this development.”
