Sólstafir announce new album ‘Hin helga kvöl’
SÓLSTAFIR have announced a new album!
Titled Hin helga kvöl, the upcoming album from the Icelandic post-metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s Endless Endless Twilight of Codependent Love, and is scheduled to be released in November this year, via Century Media Records.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Hún andar. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from the title track which was released back in June.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Aðalbjörn Tryggvason says, “Hún andar, meaning ‘She breaths’ is an obituary to a living person whom I love very much, but the mind is gone due to mental illness and drug abuse.”
