Standing Like Statues release new song ‘The Best Kind Of Anxiety’
STANDING LIKE STATUES have released a brand new song!
The new song, titled The Best Kind of Anxiety, is taken from the Cambridge-based alt rockers’ upcoming new EP, Reality Checkpoint, which is scheduled to be released later this month. The upcoming EP features the band’s previously released single, Skylines, which was released last month.
Speaking about the new song, the band says, “The Best Kind of Anxiety details the inner struggle of always feeling on edge; when you struggle to leave the house, your chest tightens up and that familiar feeling of isolation kicks in. This song is a thank you to the people in life that are there for you regardless of you wanting it, just checking in on you because they care about how you are. Sometimes it’s hard to talk, but it’s still good to know someone wants to listen and understand.”
