State Champs announce new self-titled album
STATE CHAMPS have announced a new album!
A self-titled effort, the upcoming album from the Albany, New York-based pop-punk band is the follow-up to 2022’s Kings Of The New Age, and is scheduled to be released in November this year, via Pure Noise Records.
Produced by Anton DeLost [MAYDAY PARADE, HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS], the band intend to show some of the best edgy, high-energy tracks that have defined their career thus far. “We found our way, through the ups and downs within us, personally and as a band, and wanted to express that,” explains frontman Derek DiScanio. “This is the right time to showcase it.” Bassist Ryan Scott Graham agrees. “When we stepped back and looked at the songs, sonically and thematically, it’s a great vision of who we are. Every era of STATE CHAMPS exists within this record.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released not one, but two, new songs from the upcoming album; Silver Cloud and Too Late To Say.
