Static Abyss announce debut album ‘Labyrinth Of Veins’
STATIC ABYSS have announced their debut album!
Titled Labyrinth Of Veins, the upcoming album from the death/doom project, helmed by Greg Wilkinson and Chris Reifert of death metal legends AUTOPSY, is their debut full-length record and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Peaceville Records.
The upcoming debut album was recorded at Earhammer Studios in Oakland, CA, & Great American Music Hall, with engineering, mixing and mastering overseen by Greg himself. The album’s artwork was created by of All Things Rotten. Chris Reifert states the album themes are to “explore the echoes of insanity manifested through human existence” and the debut intends to be a sinister onslaught of, at times, slow and bludgeoning brutal metal whilst at others whipped into a storm of chaotic vile hysterics.
Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have released the first song from the upcoming album; Jawbone Ritual.
