Storm Orchestra announce new album ‘Get Better’
STORM ORCHESTRA have announced a new album!
Titled Get Better, the upcoming album from the Paris-based alternative rock band is the follow-up to 2023’s What A Time To Be Alive, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Mascot Records.
Speaking about the upcoming new album, vocalist/guitarist Maxime Goudard shares, “the album represents the inner struggle. In the morning, you are angry with society, but you tell yourself, ‘I’ve got to have a good day, so I’m going to listen to a party song to make myself smile,’ and it’s that struggle inside of us. It’s an internal combat.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, STORM ORCHESTRA have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Superplayer. The new song is fourth single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Crush The Mirrors, Drummer and Bright Soul.
Speaking about the new song, drummer Loïc Fouquet says, “I wrote the second verse of this one, and the funny story is that I am a football fan. On the bridge, we tried something different because we felt we could use a sing-along, stadium vibe. I’m a big fan of Newcastle United. I’ve been to Newcastle and watched games in Paris and London. So, on the bridge, we had a famous chant. If you listen closely, you may recognize it.”
