Struck/Down announce debut album ‘Queue For The Cure’
STRUCK/DOWN have announced their debut album!
The upcoming album, titled Queue For The Cure, is the debut full-length from the Kent-based groove metal band and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via self-release. The record follows their 2023 EP To Witches and will feature ten tracks showcasing the band’s modern heavy sound.
Alongside the album announcement, the band have released a brand new single, Leach, which arrives with an official music video directed by Kiall Baker.
Speaking about the new song, the band says, “Leach is about today’s abundance of fakery and fickle perspectives, artificial views, selfish uses of alleged kindness, a care coated sheep on a manipulative wolf. Leach points at bad friends and alien family, parasitic types exploiting the kind and the anxious, sometimes the perpetrator has no idea they are such, but addiction to pity is becoming more common, with a heavy symptom of draining their circle with self woe, painting it over every day that could be otherwise labelled as a gift.”
