Sunniva announce debut album ‘Hypostasis’
SUNNIVA have announced their debut album!
Titled Hypostasis, the upcoming album from the Finnish sludge metal band is their debut full-length album, and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Svart Records.
Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Mercurial Bloodstreams. The new song tackles society’s unrelenting drive for technological advancement – a journey promised as a road to liberation, yet more often entangling humanity in deeper webs of oppression.
Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “we are constantly sold the dream of freedom, but the reality is only a few understand what true freedom even is – or if it can exist at all.”
