Tenebra announce new album ‘Moongazer’
TENEBRA have announced a new album!
Titled Moongazer, the upcoming album from the Italian stoner rock band is the follow-up to 2021’s EP What We Do Is Sacred, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via New Heavy Sounds.
On the upcoming album, the band intend to take their story a stage further with nine slabs of crushing fuzzed up grooves, fuelled by 70’s proto metal, hard rock, punk, psych-blues and noise, loaded with great riffs and melody and topped off by gutsy soulful vocals. Of the four members, Claudio (bass), Emilio (guitar) and Mesca (drums) came from the hardcore and post-hardcore squat scene that gathered around Bologna, whereas their vocalist Silvia (the youngest of the crew) is immersed in the underground rock of the 60s and 70s.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song lifted from the upcoming album; Moon Maiden. The new song features a guest appearance from Gary Lee Conner of psych grunge legends SCREAMING TREES.
