Textures release new song ‘Closer To The Unknown’

TEXTURES have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Closer To The Unknown, is the brand new single from the Dutch progressive metal band and marks their first new music since 2016’s Phenotype. The new single comes alongside the news that the band have signed with Kscope, who will release their long-awaited new album which is expected to be released later this year.

Speaking about signing wtih Kscope, the band shares, “it’s an honour for TEXTURES to join the Kscope roster and be part of a long list of artists who inspired us and our genre. To us the label represents a certain kind of class…a certain brand representing authentic and eclectic music. We hope we can add our own TEXTURES flavour to Kscope.”

Continuing to speak about the new single, the band shares, “Closer To The Unknown is one of the most direct and hard-hitting tracks we’ve ever written – and also one of the most straightforward songs on our versatile album that we’re currently working on. It is showcasing one of the iconic new elements on this record: the prominent synths and sound design that really added to our new TEXTURES sound.”
