The 69 Eyes release new music video for ‘This Murder Takes Two’

THE 69 EYES have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track This Murder Takes Two, features Kat Von D and is taken from the Finnish rock band’s brand new album Death Of Darkness, released today via Atomic Fire Records.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Jyrki 69 comments, “John Carter Cash, Johnny Cash‘s son, was in talks to record and produce an acoustic EP with us at Johnny Cash‘s very own Cabin Studios in the US. We demoed some potential songs yet we ultimately never did this recording. This song somewhat just stuck with us. It wasn’t complete without a female touch though, which is why we asked our good friend Kat Von D to sing on it. It’s my personal favourite [on the album].”

Von D adds, “It’s always such a pleasure working with THE 69 EYES boys. I’ve been such a huge fan of their music for so long. This Murder Takes Two is such a special song. Even though it’s not the typical style of music that I am used to singing to, it was so much fun stepping out of my comfort zone. Jyrki has a beautiful way of sprinkling goth romance onto everything he does, even when it’s a western style song.”
