The Black Dahlia Murder split with guitarist
Melodic death-metal quintet THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER have announced that they’ve parted ways with guitarist Ryan Knight.
Knight had been a part of the Michigan band for seven years, and had featured on four of its studio albums – Deflorate, Ritual, Everblack and, most recently, 2015’s Abysmal.
Knight said of his departure: “The decision to leave was very difficult, yet necessary I feel for me to ultimately be happy and keep moving forward. I feel very lucky to have had the best band-mates and crew – past and present – to traverse the world, guzzle beers, and bring the rock with every night.”
Replacing Knight for the band’s upcoming US tour with FALLUJAH and DISENTOMB will be ARSIS axeman Brandon Ellis.
