The Eternal release new song ‘Everlasting – MMXXIV’

THE ETERNAL have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Everlasting MMXXIV, is the brand new single from the Finnish-Australian progressive doom metal band and follows on from their latest studio album, Skinwalker, which was released back in June, via Reigning Phoenix Music.

The track is a reimagining and re-recording of their classic song Everlasting, which originally featured on their 2005 Sleep Of Reason album.

Speaking about the re-imagined song, vocalist/guitarist Mark Kelson says, “it has been a great opportunity to re-record and reimagine this song with the current lineup of the band. I feel we have really taken this song much further than I could have nineteen years ago and it is fantastic to present this new version of Everlasting in the Dolby Atmos format and give our fans the chance to have an immersive experience with THE ETERNAL.”

Drummer Jan Rechberger adds, “this song caught my ear already back in 2013 when THE ETERNAL was supporting AMOPRHIS on an Australian tour. I was super excited to re-record this epic song with the current lineup of THE ETERNAL and could not be happier about the result. It’s groovy, melancholic, catchy, heavy, massive, and Mark‘s vocals are packed with so much emotion on this one. It’s definitely a must listen for fans of THE ETERNAL.”
