The Five Hundred announce new album ‘Ghostwriter’

THE FIVE HUNDRED have announced a new album!

Titled Ghostwriter, the upcoming album from the UK metalcore band is the follow-up to 2021’s A World On Fire, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via Prime Collective.

Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says,Ghostwriter invites you to confront the darkest aspects of human nature and explore the depths of existential despair. Brace yourself for an immersive musical experience that will leave you haunted and shaken to the core, as you navigate the treacherous waters of a world on the brink of collapse.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, THE FIVE HUNDRED have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Rainmaker. The new song features a guest appearance from Aaron Matts of TEN56. and is the third single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from In The Dark and Dragged Out.

Speaking about the new song, the band shares, Rainmaker builds an intense, foreboding atmosphere through relentless riffs and haunting melodies, reflecting the desperation and simmering rage of a people on the brink of rebellion. The fiery crescendo, punctuated by Aaron Matts‘ brutal vocal delivery, symbolizes a violent upheaval as fire rains from the sky, obliterating the old order.”
