The Ghost Next Door announce new album ‘Classic Songs Of Death and Dismemberment’
THE GHOST NEXT DOOR have announced a new album!
Titled Classic Songs Of Death And Dismemberment, the upcoming album from the Bay Area-based heavy progressive metal band is the follow-up to 2019’s A Feast For The Sixth Sense, and is scheduled to be released in June this year, via Ripple Music.
The album was recorded, produced and mixed by Gary Wendt and Steve ‘Snake’ Green at Green Dot Studios, mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios. The cover art was created by Aldo Katayanagi.
Speaking about the the upcoming album, guitarist/vocalist Gary Wendt says, “I feel this album is a bit more progressive and varied. Somewhat adventurous, yet more cohesive. Lyrically, I explore themes of death, destruction and human villainy as always. Man’s scorched earth policy, if you will. ‘Who gives a fuck as long as we can make some money!’ Well, I do. I give a fuck.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from the upcoming album; It Takes A Village.
