The Halo Effect release new cover of Kent’s ‘If You Were Here’

THE HALO EFFECT have released a brand new single!

The new single, titled If You Were Here, is a cover of the 1997 track by Swedish alternative pop-rock band KENT, originally released in Swedish as Om du var här. The release of the new cover follows on from the band’s latest studio album, March On The Unheard, which was released back in January, via Nuclear Blast Records.

Speaking about the track, bassist Peter Iwers comments, KENT was a band that left a mark on many, weaving together pop rock and synth in a way that deeply moved me. This song remains one of my personal favorites. Out of respect for their artistry, we aimed to create our own version without straying too far from the soul of the original.”
