The K’s release new song ‘Me and Your Sister’

THE K’S have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Me and Your Sister, is taken from the Merseyside-based alternative rock band’s upcomng new album, Pretty On The Internet, which is scheduled to be released in July this year, via LAB Records.

The new song is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from The Bends (Here We Go Again)GravestoneBreakdown In My Bedroom and Helen, Oh I.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Jamie Boyle says, “I’m probably best known for my brutally honest, real-time documentation of the chaos constantly unfolding in my head – and the mental struggles that come with it. But with Me and Your Sister, I wanted to take a slightly less serious route. It’s a first-hand account of hyping yourself up for a big moment with a girl, only to completely bottle it – rambling nonsense and cringing through the aftermath. It’s a tongue-in-cheek retelling of a painfully familiar experience that, if we’re being honest, most people know a little too well.”

Produced by Grammy Award winner Jim Lowe [STEREOPHONICS, THE DANDY WARHOLS] and mixed by Pete Hutchings [ROYAL BLOOD, FOALS, NOTHING BUT THIEVES]. Alongside the release of the new single, you can view both the track list and artwork for the upcoming new album below:
