The Last Ten Seconds Of Life announce new album ‘The Dead Ones’
THE LAST TEN SECONDS OF LIFE have announced a brand new album!
The Pennsylvania deathcore have announced their eighth full‑length album, The Dead Ones, set for release on April 17th via Metal Blade Records. Marking their debut for the label, and the follow-up to 2024’s No Name Graves, the record finds the band pushing their pulverising deathcore sound into its most intense and personal form yet, delivering ten original tracks produced by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at Atrium Audio.
Speaking about the upcoming album, guitarist Wyatt McLaughlin shares, “everyone took what we learned from the past two releases and assembled what we thought would bring out the best of us. We examined all of THE LAST TEN SECONDS OF LIFE’s past work as well as how our fanbase digested and connected with our music. Focusing from the flow of structure all the way to every single word that was used. We have delivered a ten‑song thriller that will bellow out through the ages.”
To coincide with the announcement, the band have released a brand new single, The Dead Ones. The title track explores themes of loss, connection, and the haunting impact of humanity’s actions.
Speaking about the song, McLaughlin explains, “we all know that feeling. The piercing desire to be able to have one more conversation or final words with a loved one who has passed. The Dead Ones explores this in an illuminated way through the delivery of a sonic séance, where the realization that in becoming a vessel for the dead, darkness and light both demand their due.”
