The Plastic Youth release new song ‘Big Thief’

THE PLASTIC YOUTH have released a new song!

Titled Big Thief, it is the latest single from the Glasgow indie/jangle-pop newcomers and arrives ahead of and appearance Tenement Trail Festival 2022 in Glasgow, Scotland on October 8th. The song was recorded at Riverside Music College by co-producer Ross Cameron, and produced by Gerry Love (formerly of TEENAGE FANCLUB).

Speaking about the new single, the band comment, “We wanted Big Thief to explode into listeners’ ears with powerful instrumentation driven under a hypnotic melody, only to make way for an orchestration of soaring harmonies. With contrasts between light and dark, we hope the track’s immediate, blissful nature is clear.”
