The Warriors announce new album ‘Burn Yourself Alive’

THE WARRIORS have announced a new album!

Titled Burn Yourself Alive, the upcoming album from the American hardcore punk band is the follow-up to 2019’s Monomyth, and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Pure Noise Records.

The upcoming album intends to be an ode to life, not a call to self-immolation. “We find ourselves in dark times indeed, but while we still have a heartbeat, we have the opportunity to create: better art, better music, and better forms of governance,” the band shares. “Bukowski said, ‘Find what you love and let it kill you’. Find your spark. Burn yourself alive.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; My Blood. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Foreign Pain, which was released in November last year.

Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “the day-to-day grind of the working-class is draining on both a physical and spiritual level. But the truth is, we have the power within ourselves to break free from this vampiric paradigm. This sovereignty is available to anyone who dares to take the steps to self-empowerment. Our blood is our life force, not their currency.”
