Tidal Wave announce new album ‘Volume Tree’

TIDAL WAVE have announced a brand new album!

The Swedish stoner rock band will release their third full‑length album Volume Tree on June 5th via Ripple Music. The album follows 2023’s The Lord Knows and 2019 debut Blueberry Muffin, and intends to capture the band at their heaviest to date.

Volume Tree was recorded across three different studios and mixed by three different engineers, before being mastered by Joona Hassinen at Studio Underjord. Artwork for the album was created by Kristoffer Nordgren (Prettyshittyinc).

Alongside the announcement, TIDAL WAVE have unveiled the first track to be taken from the album, Sideburns, which arrives with a brand new music video. Speaking about the new single and its accompanying video, the band shares, “in the video, we get to see how a sideburns‑wearing bully harasses the band members continuously, stealing shrimp sandwiches and beers, or threatening our bass player Aden with some serious Kung Fu moves. In the end, they have their revenge on the Sideburns guy. While he’s resting behind a grocery store, the boys beat him up so badly that he ends up becoming a really nice guy. From a menace to society, the Sideburns dude ends up as an upstanding citizen.”
