Torena announce new album ‘No Control’
TORENA have announced a new album!
Titled No Control, the new album from the California hardcore band follows their 2021 debut full-length Cerebellum Prison and their 2023 Evil Eyez EP. It was recorded with and mixed by Taylor Young at Studio 606 and The Pit, mastered by Nick Townsend at Infrasonic Sound, and is scheduled to be released in October this year via DAZE.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, which will feature the single False Compassion that was released earlier this year, the band have released another song from the record titled No Mercy. The track draws influence from bands like HATEBREED and TERROR, and features guest vocals from the aforementioned Taylor Young.
Speaking about the track’s lyrics, the band explain that the track is about “People who constantly lie to your face and fuck you over and expect no consequences for their actions, so you don’t deal with them anymore and cut them off.”
