Tynebound reveal first names for inaugural event
Tynebound has been announced!
The team behind Fortress Festival and Reaper Agency UK have unveiled Tynebound, a brand‑new two‑day event dedicated to raw and atmospheric black metal. The inaugural edition will take place on 5–6 September 2026 at Anarchy Brew Co., Newcastle, marking a new gathering for the North East following the sold‑out success of Fortress Festival in Scarborough.
To celebrate the first edition, Anarchy Brew Co. will release a curated range of limited brews — including a specially commissioned Fortress IPA. The first four bands have been announced for the event, each bringing a different strand of bleak extremity to the intimate, 500‑capacity setting.
Finnish melodic black metal act MOONLIGHT SORCERY will return to the UK for an exclusive Sunday headline performance, following their appearance at Fortress Festival last year. They are joined by Czech veterans INFERNO, whose evolution from primitive black metal to avant‑garde intensity has earned them wide acclaim; elusive UK act ARISTARCHOS for a rare live appearance; and Scottish outfit CNOC AN TURSA, performing material from their long‑awaited new album A Cry For The Slain.

Tynebound takes place at Anarchy Brew Co. on September 5th-6th, 2026. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
