Ufomammut announce new album ‘Hidden’
UFOMAMMUT have announced a new album!
Titled Hidden, the upcoming album from the Italian psychedelic doom metal band is the follow-up to 2022’s Fenice, and is scheduled to be released in May this year, via Neurot Recordings/Supernatural Cat Records.
The upcoming album was recorded at Flat Scenario Studio in Piemonte, Italy, with Lorenzo Stecconi handling the mixing and mastering, and Luca Grossi overseeing vocal tracking.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new animated music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Leeched. Speaking about the new song, guitarist Poia says, “Leeched, the first song from the new full-length album Hidden, perfectly represents the new direction of UFOMAMMUT, which began with the album Fenice and continued with the EP Crookhead and reiterates once again that there are no failures or hesitations in our sonic research. The fusion between heaviness and psychedelia, an obsession of the band since the beginning, takes on a new, changing form in Leeched.”
