Uninvited release debut song ‘Tomboy’

UNINVITED have released their debut song!

The song, titled Tomboy, is the debut single from the emerging Scottish alt rock band. The song was produced by Johnny Madden [BABY STRANGE] and Jamie Holmes [JOSEF, THE VAN T’S, DECLAIN WELSH, THE DECADENT WEST] and was recorded at Castle Of Doom Studios in Glasgow.

Speaking about the song, Taylor-Ray Dillon from the band says, “when Gill and I wanted to start the band a few years ago, I said ‘we should have a song called Tomboy’. I thought the name was cool, I wanted to write a song called Tomboy and then we forgot about it. Until last year, when Gill mentioned that she’d been writing Tomboy. When writing the lyrics, I thought of the things that I did when I was growing up – I literally joined a football team to meet gay girls.” Gillian Dhlakama adds, “the first ever video on our Instagram is of me playing the hook to Taylor, and then we wrote the rest on the same day.”
