Utopia announce new album ‘Shame’
UTOPIA have announced a new album!
Titled Shame, the upcoming album from the technical metal group is the follow-up to 2021’s Stalker, and is scheduled to be released in February next year, via self-release.
Speaking about the upcoming album, guitarist John Bailey says, “all the themes here are complex and heavy and will never be useless when we superimpose them onto our own lives. The complexities are matched with the music and the intensity of the music is matched with the intensity of how I feel about the world and my place in it today. Sometimes I feel absolutely nothing whatsoever and sometimes I feel a burning for a better understanding of myself. Mood swings eh!!!”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Withering Away and Laughing.
