Vain Valkyries release new music video for ‘Brittle Bone Disco’
VAIN VALKYRIES have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Brittle Bone Disco, is the second single to be taken from the heavy rock/post-hardcore duo’s upcoming debut album The Great Suffering, which is scheduled to be released next month via self-release. The video was directed by Bastien Vannoni.
Speaking about the new song, singer-guitarist Ian Debeerst comments, “If it’s often said that there are those kind of songs that come in one draft and write themselves, Brittle Bone Disco is definitely one of them. It’s the simplest and shortest song I’ve ever written. It came in one go, with its heavy tempo, simple structure, drop A riff, and question-answer vocal lines. When I noticed how short it was, I felt like I’d stepped into a time-space rift. Simon had the same feeling as me when I sent him the demo (as we often do). It’s an anomaly, a compendium of stoner heaviness, with a very modern ‘hit’ length (shorter than LIL NAS X‘s Old Town Road, that’s for sure)! The message: it’s a call to let go. An invitation to dance and shake your head, to the point of complete dismemberment.”
