Vatican announce new album ‘Ultra’
VATICAN have announced a new album!
Titled Ultra, the upcoming album from the Savannah, Georgia-based metalcore band is the follow-up to 2019’s Sole Impulse, and is scheduled to be released in June this year, via UNFD.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Reverence. The new song is the second to be released from the upcoming album, following on from the release of Decemeta, which was released in December last year.
“To me, this song has just about the whole package,” says singer Mike Sugars. “Just a little bit of everything I like to hear in metalcore. I remember recording the chorus, and our producer Randy Lebouf saying, ‘I don’t understand how you thought to sing over this, but it’s just so perfect.’ The song is about people with irresponsible amounts of wealth and the damage they cause to the vast majority of regular people. We don’t need ’em.”
