VENUS GRRRLS release new music video for ‘Ivy Tree’

VENUS GRRRLS have released a brand new music video!

The new single, titled Ivy Tree, is out now and arrives ahead of the band’s biggest headline shows to date next month. Co-written and produced with Max Helyer (YOU ME AT SIX) and Numen Studios, the new single follows on from the band’s previous single, Eighteen Crows, which was released back in March. The new song’s accompanying music video was directed by Misha Warren.

Speaking about the single, the band share, “Ivy Tree is a song of reclamation and sisterhood, referencing the strength and unity between the coven-turned-band. Painting a dreamscape of a matriarchy where there is liberation, it is a juxtaposition of a danse-macabre that so often is the reality for women. Siphoning paganistic imagery and nods to the divine feminine, Ivy Tree stands as a battle cry for fury and redemption.”
