Vower announce debut EP ‘Apricity’

VOWER have announced their debut EP!

Titled Apricity, the upcoming EP from the band featuring ex-members of BLACK PEAKSPALM READER and TOSKA is their debut EP, and is scheduled to be released in July this year, via self-release.

Speaking about the upcoming EP, frontman Josh Mckeown says, VOWER came to fruition at a time when everyone involved really needed it. Everything seemed to fall into place at the right time. The meaning of the word Apricity is the warmth of the sun in winter and that is exactly what this collection of songs has become. We are so proud of these songs and what they represent at the start of this journey. More than anything we’re excited for what the future holds for VOWER.”

Alongside the announcement of the debut EP, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming EP; False Rituals. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming debut EP, following on from Shroud, which was released last month.

Speaking about the new song, the band says, False Rituals is a broad brush commentary on social media and specifically the negative aspects. The doom scrolling, the addiction and the anxiety it all creates. We feel this song perfectly encapsulates ‘our’ sound, and is a great pre-cursor for what’s to come.”
