Wall release new music video for ‘Legion’
WALL have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Legion, is taken from the UK instrumental doom/sludge metal band’s upcoming debut album, Brick By Brick, which is scheduled to be released in August this year, via APF Records.
Speaking about the new song, guitarist Ryan Cole says, “the song title Legion comes from Stephen King‘s TV mini series Storm Of The Century. The 4000 year old Wizard that unleashes evil on a small island in Maine, that goes by the name of Andre Linoge… Linoge an anagram for Legion (demon).
– from the Bible (Luke 18:26-39) that reads – And Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion”; for many demons had entered him. They were imploring Him not to command them to go away into the abyss. Now there was a herd of many swine feeding there on the mountain; and the demons implored Him to permit them to enter the swine. And He gave them permission. And the demons came out of the man and entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
Both me and Elliot are huge Stephen King / horror movie fans, so that is the meaning behind the title to the song! The video was put together by the talented Graham Bywater, and the song is just a usual WALL jam where I’ll come up with some riffs & Elliot will lay down the beats. I’d say the song has heavy SABBATH, KARMA TO BURN and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE vibes…but with a faster tempo thrash moment to spice things up at the end!”
